Off to Indiana

Hillary Clinton campaign has launched a new ad in Indiana.

The ad states that Sen. Clinton is ready to “to turn our economy around.” In order to accomplish this, she would: stop tax breaks for companies that move jobs overseas; fix unfair trade deals; stand up to China; and create five million new jobs.

It’s certainly a tall order for any candidate to explain how they would fix the economy in 30 seconds. Sen. Clinton is on target with her ad.

Not a creature stirring, not a whisper about millions of lost jobs.

"Can it get any quieter?!":

Typical campaign talk about a better America, but nothing of substance.

"As quiet as a tree falling in the forest when no one is around":

Jobs and the economy discussed, but no concrete solutions offered.

"Small Talk":

Good discussion of manufacturing woes and unfair competition, but still no promise to address such illegal Chinese trade practices as dumping, subsidies, and currency manipulation.

"Hurrah":

Finally, a candidate goes on record as promising to take strong action against China and enforce U.S. trade law.
